    Windshield Chip & Crack Repair

    Small chips and short cracks can often be filled with resin before they spread across the glass. Repair is faster and less expensive than replacement, and it works well when the damage is caught early and isn't in the driver's primary sightline. We assess every chip honestly: if the damage is too close to the edge, too large, or in a location that affects visibility, we'll tell you replacement is the better option.

    Windshield Replacement

    When a windshield crack is too large to repair, has spread across the glass, or sits directly in the driver's line of sight, replacement is the safe and correct call. We install OEM-quality windshields with proper adhesive cure time built into the process. Don't drive on a fresh windshield replacement before the adhesive has cured: we give you clear instructions on wait time before you leave.

    Side & Rear Window Replacement

    Side windows and rear glass don't crack the same way windshields do: they typically shatter. Whether the cause is an accident, a break-in, or road debris, we replace side and rear windows using properly fitted glass for your specific vehicle make and model. Aftermarket glass that doesn't fit correctly creates seal problems down the road, which is why fitment matters as much as the glass itself.

    Post-Replacement Care

    Avoid automatic car washes with high-pressure jets for at least a week after any glass replacement. High-pressure water and air can disturb fresh adhesive seals before they fully cure. We walk every customer through care instructions at pickup because this is one of the most common ways a good installation gets compromised after the fact.

    • How do I know if my chip can be repaired or needs full replacement?

      The two main factors are size and location. Chips smaller than a quarter and cracks shorter than about three inches can usually be repaired successfully. Damage that's in the driver's direct line of sight, near the edge of the glass, or has multiple branching cracks is generally better addressed with replacement. We assess this on every job and give you a straight answer. We don't push replacement when a repair will hold.

    • How long does glass repair or replacement take?

      A chip repair typically takes 30-60 minutes. A full windshield replacement takes 1-2 hours for the installation itself, but you'll need to wait for the adhesive to cure before driving normally. We give you a specific cure time recommendation based on the adhesive used and conditions that day. Side and rear window replacements vary by vehicle but are generally completed in a similar timeframe.

    • Will my insurance cover glass repair or replacement?

      Many comprehensive auto insurance policies cover glass repair and replacement, sometimes with no deductible for repairs specifically.
