THE FIRST LINE OF DEFENSE FOR YOUR INTERIOR

Floor mats and liners protect the carpet underneath them, and the quality of that protection varies significantly by fit. A universal mat that doesn't match your vehicle's floor shape shifts under the pedals and lets dirt and moisture reach the carpet edges. A custom-fit liner locks in place and channels everything to a containment area that's easy to remove and clean. In Ohio, that matters for about six months of the year.

We carry custom-fit floor mats and liners from WeatherTech, Husky, and Nifty at both our Lewis Center and Hilliard locations as part of our vehicle interior services. Every product we carry is fitted to your specific year, make, and model, not a generic size. Come in, and we'll help you select the right option for how you use the vehicle.

FLOOR MAT & LINER OPTIONS

Not all floor protection is the same. Here's what to consider when choosing between mats, liners, and cargo protection for your vehicle.

Custom-Fit Floor Liners

Custom-fit liners are molded to your vehicle's specific floor contours, including the raised edges, tunnel hump, and footwell shapes. The raised sidewalls channel liquid and debris to a containment zone rather than letting it spread to the carpet edges. This is the right choice for trucks and SUVs that see outdoor use, job site conditions, or Ohio winters where boots bring in salt and slush on a regular basis.

Floor Mats

Floor mats provide coverage and protection for everyday driving without the deep containment of a liner. Quality custom-fit mats stay in place without shifting and cover the high-contact areas that take the most wear. They're a practical choice for drivers who want clean, fitted floor protection without the heavier-duty profile of a full liner setup.

Cargo & Trunk

Cargo liners protect the rear storage area of SUVs and crossovers from groceries, equipment, gear, and whatever else goes back there. Like floor liners, cargo liners are custom-fitted to the vehicle's specific cargo floor dimensions. If you're protecting the passenger floor, it often makes sense to add a cargo liner at the same time for complete interior coverage.

Fit & Selection

The right liner or mat depends on the vehicle, how it's used, and which brand's design best suits the application. We carry options across WeatherTech, Husky, and Nifty, each with different construction approaches and price points. When you come in, we confirm your exact year, make, model, and cab configuration before selecting a product. Getting the fitment right is what makes a custom-fit product worth having.

YOU NEED THIS IF:

  • Your current floor mats are worn out, cracked, or no longer fitting correctly
  • You want protection that contains spills and debris rather than letting them reach the carpet
  • You drive a truck or SUV that sees outdoor use, job sites, or heavy passenger traffic
  • You want a custom-fit liner, not a universal mat that shifts around
  • You're protecting a new or newer vehicle and want to keep the carpet underneath in good shape

COMMON FLOOR MAT QUESTIONS

  • What's the difference between a floor mat and a floor liner?

Floor mats sit on top of the carpet and provide basic coverage. Floor liners are custom-molded to the vehicle's specific floor contours, with raised edges designed to contain liquid and debris within the liner rather than letting it spread to the carpet edges. Liners offer significantly more protection for vehicles that see wet, muddy, or high-use conditions. Mats are a good option for everyday driving where deep containment isn't the primary concern.
  • Do I need to know my exact vehicle specs to get the right fit?

Yes, and that's exactly why we ask. Custom-fit mats and liners are made for specific year, make, model, and cab configurations. A liner built for a 2019 F-150 SuperCrew won't fit a 2019 F-150 Regular Cab correctly. When you come in, we confirm your exact vehicle before selecting the right product.
  • Do you carry cargo area liners as well?

Yes. We carry cargo and trunk liners for SUVs and crossovers in the same brands we carry for passenger floor coverage. If you're protecting the rear cargo area in addition to the passenger floor, we can set you up with a matched set. Come in with your vehicle and we'll confirm availability for your specific model.
  • Can floor liners damage carpet over time?

Quality custom-fit liners with appropriate backing won't damage carpet under normal use. Problems can occur when cheap universal mats with abrasive backing are left in place for extended periods without cleaning underneath them. Cleaning under your liners periodically is good practice regardless of brand.
