BRING US THE PART. WE'LL HANDLE THE REST.

Plenty of customers come to us with a part they've already sourced. They ordered something online, picked up an accessory, or have a component they want on the vehicle and need installed by a shop that knows what they're doing. We install aftermarket parts across a wide range of categories, and we approach every install the same way: confirm fitment before anything goes on the vehicle, do the work correctly, and stand behind it.

Some parts are straightforward bolt-ons. Others require additional hardware, wiring, or prep work that isn't obvious until you're into it. We tell you what's involved before we start, not after. If a part isn't going to fit your specific vehicle correctly, we'll let you know before you waste time on an install that won't work. Bring the part and your year, make, and model, and we'll work through it with you as part of our maintenance and installation services.

PARTS WE INSTALL

We install customer-supplied parts across a wide range of categories. Here's what we handle and how we approach each type of job.

Truck & Exterior Accessories

Running boards, step bars, grille guards, bug shields, bed accessories, trailer hitches, and exterior lighting are among the most common customer-supplied installs we do. Installation quality matters: parts that aren't mounted correctly work loose or create fitment issues down the road. We've done enough of these to know where the problems show up and how to avoid them.

Electronics & Technology

Remote start systems, backup cameras, dash cameras, radar detectors, and audio components require clean wiring and proper integration into the vehicle's electrical system. Sloppy wiring creates problems later. We run clean installs, test everything before the vehicle leaves, and confirm fitment requirements before we start.

Performance & Mechanical Parts

Air intakes, exhaust components, suspension parts, and performance bolt-ons sourced by the customer are work we do regularly. We confirm the part is appropriate for the vehicle and understand the installation requirements before starting. Some performance installs require additional tuning or follow-up work after the part goes on, and we'll tell you that upfront before any work begins.

Fitment Verification

Before any part goes on a vehicle, we verify fitment. Customer-supplied parts occasionally have compatibility issues that aren't obvious from the part number or product listing. We check the part against your specific year, make, model, and trim before any labor is spent. If something isn't going to fit or function correctly, we flag it before the install begins, not halfway through it.

YOU NEED THIS IF:

  • You've sourced a part online or elsewhere and need it professionally installed
  • You want an accessory or upgrade installed correctly without doing it yourself
  • You're not sure whether a part you bought will fit your specific vehicle
  • You need wiring or electrical work done as part of the install
  • You want the installation backed by a shop, not a DIY job

COMMON PART INSTALLATION QUESTIONS

  • Do you install parts that customers bring in?

Yes. If you've sourced a part yourself, we'll install it. Bring the part along with your year, make, and model, and we'll confirm fitment and let you know what the install involves before anything starts. Most aftermarket parts are a standard install. Occasionally, a part requires additional hardware, a wiring harness, or modification to fit correctly, and we'll tell you that upfront before any work begins.
  • What types of parts do you install?

Truck accessories, exterior parts, electronics, performance bolt-ons, suspension components, and most aftermarket upgrades that customers bring in. If you're unsure whether we can handle a specific part or install, call or stop by either our Lewis Center or Hilliard location and describe the job. We'll give you a straight answer.
  • Will you install a part if it's not from a brand you carry?

Yes. We don't limit installation to parts we sell. If you've ordered something and want it installed, bring it in. We'll assess the part and confirm it's appropriate for your vehicle before we put it on. The main thing we check is whether the part is going to fit and function correctly. If something is clearly a quality issue or a known problem part, we'll tell you.
  • Does having an aftermarket part installed affect my vehicle's warranty?

Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a dealer can't void your warranty simply because you've installed an aftermarket part. They would need to demonstrate that the part caused the specific failure being claimed. So a running board install doesn't void your powertrain warranty, for example. That said, if a specific part directly causes damage, that component's warranty could be affected. If you have concerns about a particular part and your warranty situation, bring it in and we'll talk through it.
