CUSTOM VINYL WRAPS

A vinyl wrap is one of the most dramatic changes you can make to a vehicle without touching the paint underneath. Whether you want a full color change, a blacked-out roof, or a fleet wrap for your business, the right film and installation make it possible. At Pickups Plus Cars, vinyl wraps and graphics are part of our broader exterior customization services for trucks, SUVs, and cars across Central Ohio.

The quality of a wrap comes down almost entirely to the installation. Poorly stretched film, lifted edges, and visible seams are the most common complaints we hear from customers who went elsewhere first. Our team has been working on custom vehicle builds for 25+ years, and we treat every wrap job the same way with proper surface prep, precise application, and clean finished edges. All work is quote-based because vehicle size, design complexity, and film choice all affect the final price.

SCHEDULE WITH US

WRAPS FOR EVERY BUILD & BUDGET

From full color changes to fleet graphics, we install vinyl wraps and custom graphics tailored to your vehicle and your goals.

Full Vehicle Wraps

A full wrap changes the entire exterior color or finish of your vehicle using premium vinyl film. It's a practical alternative to a repaint when you want a different look without permanently altering the factory paint. We install full wraps in matte, gloss, satin, metallic, and chrome finishes across a wide range of colors. The factory paint underneath stays protected for the life of the wrap.

Partial Wraps & Accents

Partial wraps cover specific sections of the vehicle: the roof, hood, mirrors, pillars, or lower body panels. They're a cost-effective way to add contrast, accent a build, or achieve a two-tone look without a full wrap. We work with you on placement and finish to make sure the result looks intentional, not afterthought.

Custom Graphics & Decals

Custom graphics range from simple racing stripes and number decals to complex multi-panel designs. We design and cut graphics in-house and apply them with the same precision as a full wrap. Whether the goal is a personal build or a show vehicle, we handle the design and installation as a complete package.

Fleet & Business Wraps

Fleet wraps turn your work vehicles into moving advertising without the ongoing cost of other media. We've wrapped single vehicles and full fleets for Central Ohio businesses, handling design, production, and installation at both of our locations. Every fleet job is priced per vehicle based on size and design complexity.

YOU NEED THIS IF:

  • You want a color change without a permanent repaint
  • You're building out a truck and want the exterior to match the vision
  • You want to protect your factory paint while changing the look
  • You need fleet or business graphics on one or more work vehicles
  • You want a specific finish like matte or satin that isn't available from the factory

VINYL WRAP FAQS

  • How long does a vinyl wrap last?

A professionally installed wrap using quality film typically lasts 5-7 years under normal conditions. Sun exposure, how often the vehicle is washed, and whether it's garaged regularly all affect longevity. In our experience, the vehicles that hold up the longest are the ones that were prepped correctly before installation and washed by hand rather than run through automatic car washes with high-pressure jets. We'll give you specific care instructions when the job is done.
  • Will a vinyl wrap damage my paint?

A properly installed and removed wrap won't damage factory paint in good condition. In fact, it protects the paint underneath from UV fading, minor chips, and surface scratches for the life of the wrap. The one caveat: if your paint is already peeling, chipping, or has been repainted with a non-standard product, removal can pull existing damage further. We inspect the paint condition before every wrap job and tell you upfront if there's anything that could be a problem.
  • How long does installation take?

A full vehicle wrap typically takes 2-4 days depending on the size of the vehicle and the complexity of the design. Partial wraps and accent pieces can often be done in a single day. We give you a realistic timeline at the time of your quote. We don't rush wrap installations because the prep work, application, and finishing all need time to be done correctly.
  • Can I wrap a vehicle that already has aftermarket paint or body work?

It depends on the condition and type of paint. Standard factory paint in good condition wraps and removes cleanly. Aftermarket paint jobs, especially those done with lower-quality products or without proper sealing, carry more risk during removal. We assess this on a case-by-case basis. If there's a risk we're not comfortable with, we'll tell you before we start rather than after.
  • What's the difference between a wrap and a repaint?

A repaint permanently changes the vehicle's color and can't be undone without another repaint. A wrap is reversible: you can remove it and return to the factory color, which also preserves the original paint for resale purposes. Repaints done to factory standards are generally more durable over 10+ years, but a quality wrap at 5-7 years is a better fit for drivers who want flexibility, paint protection, or a finish like matte or satin that's difficult to achieve with paint.
