POWERSPORT UPGRADES DONE BY PEOPLE WHO RIDE

ATVs, UTVs, and motorcycles aren't cars, and the upgrades that work on them require a different skill set than standard automotive work. Suspension geometry on a side-by-side is different from a truck. Electrical systems on a motorcycle are wired differently than a passenger vehicle. Getting an upgrade installed correctly means understanding how the machine actually works, not just bolting on a part and hoping for the best.

We've been working on powersport vehicles alongside cars and trucks at our Lewis Center and Hilliard locations for years, and we approach them the same way we approach everything else: figure out what you're actually trying to accomplish, recommend the right setup for how you ride, and install it correctly. Whether you're building out an off-road UTV with lighting and protection, or looking to get more performance out of a motorcycle, come talk to us and we'll work through what makes sense as part of our broader powersport services.

WHAT WE DO FOR YOUR POWERSPORT VEHICLE

Upgrades for ATVs, UTVs, and motorcycles fall into a few main categories. Here's what we handle and what each type of work actually delivers.

Performance Upgrades

Performance work on powersport vehicles includes exhaust upgrades, intake systems, suspension improvements, and engine tuning. On UTVs and ATVs, suspension upgrades make a significant difference in off-road capability and ride quality over rough terrain. On motorcycles, exhaust and intake work can improve throttle response and increase horsepower. The right performance upgrade depends on the machine and how it's ridden. We look at both before making a recommendation.

Lighting & Electronics

LED light bars, auxiliary driving lights, and pod lights are among the most common upgrades we see on UTVs and ATVs used for trail riding or work applications. Proper mounting and wiring matter here: lights need to be positioned correctly and wired into a fused circuit, not tapped into whatever's nearby. We also handle audio systems, GPS mounts, and other electronics for powersport vehicles. If it involves wiring something into the machine, we do it right the first time.

Protective Accessories

Off-road use puts ATVs and UTVs through terrain that wears on exposed components. Skid plates protect the undercarriage from rocks and roots. Nerf bars and frame guards reduce damage from tip-overs and brush. Handguards protect levers and hands on tight trails. The specific protection that makes sense depends on where you ride and how hard you push the machine. We can assess what's worth adding based on your actual use.

Aesthetic & Custom Work

Custom graphics, vinyl wraps, and seat replacement or upgrades are the most common aesthetic work we do on powersport vehicles. A UTV wrap or custom seat can significantly change how the machine looks, and quality installation means the graphics hold up through off-road use rather than peeling within a season. If you want a specific look or want to match your machine to a fleet or brand identity, we can work through the options.

YOU NEED THIS IF:

  • You want more capability from your ATV or UTV for off-road or trail use
  • Your UTV or side-by-side needs lighting for night riding or work applications
  • You want to protect your machine from off-road damage before it happens
  • You're building out a motorcycle with performance or aesthetic upgrades
  • You want work done by someone who understands powersport vehicles, not just cars

COMMON POWERSPORT UPGRADE QUESTIONS

  • What's the most common upgrade you install on UTVs and side-by-sides?

Lighting is probably the most frequent request. LED light bars and auxiliary pod lights are popular with riders who use their machines after dark, on trails, or in work applications where visibility matters. After that, suspension upgrades and skid plate protection are common, especially for riders who cover rough terrain regularly. What we install varies based on the machine and how it's used. We've seen enough different setups to know what actually holds up and what doesn't.
  • Do you work on all ATV and UTV brands?

We work on most major powersport brands, including Can-Am, Polaris, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, and others. Some highly specialized or older machines can be harder to source parts for, and we'll tell you upfront if that's the case. The best way to confirm whether we can help with your specific vehicle is to bring it in or call us at either the Lewis Center or Hilliard location.
  • Will adding aftermarket parts affect my powersport vehicle's warranty?

The same principle that applies to automotive warranties applies here: under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer can't void your warranty simply because you've added an aftermarket part. They would need to demonstrate that the aftermarket part caused the specific failure. That said, some manufacturers are more aggressive about warranty claims on modified vehicles than others. If warranty coverage is a concern, we can talk through the specific upgrades you're considering and what the realistic risk is.
  • Can you install a lift or suspension upgrade on my UTV?

Yes. Suspension lifts on UTVs and side-by-sides are a common request, particularly from riders who want to run larger tires or need more ground clearance for the terrain they ride. The installation process varies by machine and the extent of the lift. As with any suspension modification, tire clearance and geometry need to be checked after the work is done. Come in and tell us what you're running and what you're trying to accomplish.
  • Do you do motorcycle upgrades as well, or just ATVs and UTVs?

Both. Motorcycles are a smaller portion of our powersport work, but we handle performance upgrades, exhaust installations, and aesthetic work on bikes as well. If you're not sure whether we can help with your specific motorcycle and the work you have in mind, the easiest thing is to call or stop by and describe the job.
