THE ONLY TONNEAU-TOPPER COMBO ON THE MARKET

Most truck owners eventually face the same question: tonneau cover or topper? A tonneau keeps the bed dry and the truck looking clean, but you lose overhead clearance for taller cargo. A topper gives you an enclosed bed, but it goes on and stays on. Swapping between configurations is not a quick job with a traditional cap. Fas-Top solves that problem. It's the only product on the market that combines a soft topper and tonneau cover in a single modular system that converts in under a minute.

As part of our pickup truck accessories work, we carry all four Fas-Top models at both our Lewis Center and Hilliard locations. Four Fas-Top models at both our Lewis Center and Hilliard locations. The right model depends on how you use the truck: whether you want the full tonneau-to-topper conversion capability of the Traveler, a standalone soft topper, a straight roll-up tonneau, or the Jaybar bed rack system for cargo mounting. We've been fitting tonneau covers and truck caps on Central Ohio trucks since 1999. Come in, and we'll work through which Fas-Top configuration fits how you actually use your truck.

WHICH FAS-TOP IS RIGHT FOR YOUR TRUCK?

Fas-Top makes four distinct products that share the same modular design philosophy. Each solves a different combination of needs. Here's what each one does and who it's for.

Fas-Top Traveler

The Traveler is the flagship product: an integrated tonneau cover and soft truck topper in one system. The topper stows under the tonneau when you want a flat covered bed, and the tonneau rolls to the front of the bed when the topper is deployed for an enclosed cab-height space. The conversion takes under a minute without tools. This is the model for truck owners who need both configurations and don't want to choose between them.

Fas-Top Solo

The Solo is a standalone soft truck topper: an enclosed cab-height cover for the bed without the integrated tonneau component. It provides weather protection and enclosed cargo space for road trips, camping, and hauling gear that needs to stay dry and secure. It's a lighter, easier-to-manage alternative to a hard fiberglass cap for drivers who want the enclosed bed function without the weight or the permanence of a hard top.

Fas-Top Original

The Original is Fas-Top's roll-up tonneau cover: a flat, weather-resistant bed cover without the topper component. If you want the clean covered-bed look and weather protection of a tonneau but don't need the overhead enclosure, the Original is the straightforward choice. It's built to the same modular design standards as the rest of the Fas-Top line.

Fas-Top Jaybar

The Jaybar is a bed rack system designed to work with Fas-Top covers and toppers. It installs a utility track channel across the top for mounting cargo: ladders, lumber, equipment, gear. A modular sidebar can be added for additional load capacity and accessory mounting. The Jaybar is the right add-on for contractors, tradespeople, or outdoor users who need overhead cargo capacity on a truck that's also running a Fas-Top cover.

YOU NEED A FAS-TOP IF:

  • You can't decide between a tonneau cover and a topper and want both in one system
  • You haul large items that need overhead clearance sometimes and a flat covered bed other times
  • You want a soft topper that converts to a tonneau without removing the whole system
  • You want a truck-specific bed cover that installs cleanly and is built for repeat use in all weather
  • You're a contractor or outdoor user who needs cargo mounting capacity on top of the cover

COMMON FAS-TOP QUESTIONS

  • How does the Fas-Top Traveler actually switch between tonneau and topper modes?

The Traveler is designed to convert without tools in under a minute. When you're in tonneau mode, the soft topper stows folded underneath the tonneau cover, and the bed looks like a standard covered truck. To switch to topper mode, the tonneau rolls forward to the front of the bed and bundles there while the topper deploys to its full enclosed position. There are no separate pieces to remove and store. Everything stays on the truck. If you want to see it demonstrated before deciding, come into either location, and we'll walk through it.
  • What trucks does Fas-Top fit?

Fas-Top products are model-specific. They're built to fit the bed dimensions of particular truck makes, models, and bed lengths. The line covers most major full-size truck platforms, including Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, Toyota Tundra, and others. Availability for specific cab and bed size combinations varies by model. Bring in your year, make, model, and bed length, and we'll confirm what fits before anything is ordered.
  • How does a Fas-Top compare to a traditional hard truck cap?

A traditional hard fiberglass cap is heavier, more permanent, and generally requires two people and some effort to remove. It provides a rigid, secure enclosure, but it stays on the truck until you actively take it off. The Fas-Top Solo and Traveler are soft-sided, which means they're lighter and more manageable to reconfigure. The trade-off is that a hard cap offers more structural rigidity and is generally more secure against break-ins. If you need the enclosed bed function but want the ability to switch configurations regularly, Fas-Top is the better fit. If the cap is going on and staying on, a hard cap may be the right call. We can help you think through it.
  • Can the Fas-Top Jaybar be added to an existing Fas-Top cover?

Yes. The Jaybar is designed as a compatible add-on for Fas-Top cover and topper systems. It uses the same modular mounting system and attaches without modifying the existing cover. If you already have a Fas-Top and want to add cargo mounting capacity, bring the truck in and we'll confirm compatibility with your specific model and install the Jaybar at either location.
